Recent readings

I don’t get to do much reading out loud, but last month, I had the good fortune to participate in the New Orleans Poetry Festival Open Mic event, which was held at The Dragonfly. I heard some great poetry in the three hours I was there, and I made the acquaintance of the part-time poetry cat, who looked eerily like my cat Roxie, who is no longer with us.

Also last month, I read on Poetry Super Highway Live, something I do every few months. This is always a fun experience; I like listening to other poets read their work.
